The designer behind the fashion label of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld's designer, has chosen to cast  Keira Knightley  Coco Chanel in a short film about Chanel.

The actress will play the legendary Karl Lagenfeld's designer in a short film directed by Lagerfeld was in the context of 100 years of age the first Chanel boutique in Deauville, France.

Prior to this, Knightley has worked with Lagerfeld in Coco Mademoiselle perfume ad. Knightley when it was chosen by Lagerfeld, chief designer and creative director of Chanel. Knightley is one of the sources of inspiration for Lagerfeld.
